Navalny supporters mark first anniversary of his death as opposition falters


A year after the death of Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny in prison, his supporters are holding memorials for him despite the risk of retaliation from President Vladimir Putin’s regime. The opposition movement, weakened by repression and infighting, continues to struggle although Navalny’s legacy remains a symbol of defiance.
