Nathaniel Hackett and 2 more coaches on the hot seat this week
This has been a bad NFL season due in part to awful head coaches like Nathaniel Hackett.
While Nathaniel Hackett is clearly over his skis, the NFL is suffering massively as a product because the coaching appears to be at an all-time low.
You may love this league more than life itself, but you have to come to grips with the fact this has not been a good season at all. I mean, who’s good? Like, really good? Although we may end up with one of the most captivating postseasons imaginable, the consumer has been sold a bill of goods. Simply put, players are not being put in advantageous positions to succeed often enough.
10 new head coaches and two getting fired in-season has not helped the league in the slightest.
Here are three NFL head coaches who are entering Thanksgiving Weekend firmly on the hot seat.

Mike Tomlin
Pittsburgh Steelers (3-7)
Eventually, Mike Tomlin will be held responsible for the Pittsburgh Steelers mess
The NFL is a what have you done for me lately league, and Mike Tomlin is living on borrowed time. No longer can we say the Pittsburgh Steelers are a bastion of football blue-blooded stability. After losing at home to the division rival Cincinnati Bengals, Pittsburgh is 3-7. Tomlin is going to have his first losing season at the helm, which is sadly, the only thing he can brag about of late…
I understand he has been with the team for ages and that he has won a Super Bowl and been to another, but stop living in the past! When you become beholden to something that happened over a decade ago, the world passes you by and you become a loser. Kenny Pickett will never be Ben Roethlisberger, but it has become exhausting to watch a team that is 90 percent housebroken.
This is a team that plays with emotion, for good, bad and downright ugly. At best, this is the third best team in the AFC North with the Bengals and Baltimore Ravens running laps around them. Pittsburgh has the same record as the Cleveland Browns. The difference between Tomlin and Kevin Stefanski is his owner did not trade for persona non grata to be his franchise quarterback.
The Steelers are too proud of an organization to fire Tomlin, but this thing is far beyond past stale.
