Michael Cooper says Luka Doncic is “lazy, doesn’t hustle back on defense”
Former Los Angeles Lakers player and current radio broadcaster Michael Cooper has offered sharp criticism of Luka Doncic.
On his Showtime podcast, Cooper acknowledged Doncic’s scoring ability but took issue with his defensive effort.
Cooper remarked (h/t Lakers Nation), “Luka [Doncic] gives you that triple-double almost about every night, but he’s too slow for me. If he wasn’t a scorer, I would cut him.” He added, “I give him credit for that, but to me, he’s lazy.
