Micah Parsons trolls Andrew Thomas after winning battle on Thanksgiving

Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons got past New York Giants left tackle Andrew Thomas to get two sacks, and he trolled him on Twitter.

One of the three Thanksgiving games this year was a battle between NFC East rivals in the Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants. The winner of the game would receive sole possession of second place in the division. While the story of the game was “which team would impress free agent wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr.,” there was also a story to follow on Twitter.

After the Cowboys 28-20 win, Cowboys stud linebacker Micah Parsons took a shot at Giants starting left tackle Andrew Thomas. Parsons was able to record two sacks on the day at the expense of Thomas. Parsons tweeted “heard he’s the best! I stayed on his side all game.”

Thomas had been one of the best left tackles in the league entering Thursday. In fact, he didn’t allow a single pressure in the team’s previous three games, per Pro Football Focus.

Ahead of the game, Thomas was listed as questionable due to an illness. After the game, Thomas didn’t use it as an excuse for his performance. The video below comes courtesy of SNY:

“I’m not making any excuses,” said Thomas. “I’ve got to play better. I let the team down today.”

Parsons was also listed as questionable heading into Thanksgiving due to ankle and knee injuries. He was cleared to play, and he obviously made an impact.

After this game, Parsons now has 37 solo tackles and 12 sacks to his credit for the season.

The Cowboys got the better of the Giants, as they completed the sweep. As for Parsons, he decided to throw some shade at Thomas.
