Following a disappointing setback last season that saw the Dallas Mavericks miss the playoffs after high expectations, forward Maxi Kleber is determined to lead his team on a redemption journey in the upcoming 2023-24 NBA season.

Expressing a resolute commitment to overcoming last season’s letdown, Kleber emphasized the team’s collective determination to prove their mettle and regain their competitive edge.

Despite acknowledging the challenges posed by the fiercely competitive league, Kleber remains confident in the Mavericks’ ability to bounce back and leave a lasting impression in the upcoming season.

“Obviously, there’s a certain feeling of that chip on your shoulder, because last year obviously was very disappointing,” Kleber said, via mavs.com. “But we want to move on from that. We have a lot to prove and make up for.

“It’s not going to be easy. The league is really competitive and has a lot of good teams. But we believe in ourselves and we want to make up for what happened last year.”
