Mark Cuban on Kyrie Irving: “He’s an interesting guy that’s just misunderstood”
Mavericks owner Mark Cuban says that his team traded for Kyrie Irving at the trade deadline because they wanted him to be a long-term piece.
As far as the off court controversies surrounding the superstar, Cuban thinks that Irving is just misunderstood.
“I think Kyrie’s just misunderstood,” Cuban said on SiriusXM NBA Radio, via HoopsHype. “Everybody sees all the noise and everything around him, but when you actually talk to him, I like him. He’s just… He’s open, he’s smart. He’s always looking to learn things and to me, he’s an interesting guy that’s just misunderstood.”
