Mark Cuban is saying “I’m out” for the last time.

The Shark Tank star—who joined the long-running ABC reality series as a guest panelist in 2011 before becoming a full-time “shark” the following year—confirmed his exit from the show ahead of the season 16 finale May 16, which will serve as his final episode.

“Gonna miss it,” he wrote in a post on X (formerly Twitter) May 15. “But it was time to move on.”

Mark, 66, has seemingly had his mind made up for quite some time. He previously shared his intention to depart the show in 2023, noting the impact he felt he had made during his lengthy tenure on the panel.

“I feel like in doing Shark Tank all these years,” he said during an appearance on the All The Smoke podcast at the time, “we’ve trained multiple generations of entrepreneurs that, if somebody can come from Iowa or Sacramento or wherever, and show up on Shark Tank and show their business and get a deal, it’s going to inspire generations of kids.”
