Maren Morris shares Brittany Aldean feud Halloween costume

This feud is getting spooky.

Maren Morris threw shade at Brittany Aldean again by sharing a viral Spirit Halloween meme with a costume inspired by their beef.

The Photoshopped packaging dubbed the costume a “Lunatic Country Music Person” alongside a photo of Morris in a callback to Fox News host Tucker Carlson labeling the singer a “lunatic country music person” while reporting on her feud with Aldean last month.

The fake costume also included a tambourine, “inclusive fans,” a pickleball paddle, a wig and “beef with transphobes.” The list also clarified that a “tall guy [was] not included,” referencing Morris’ 6-foot-3 husband, Ryan Hurd.

“S P O O K Y 🕷 S Z N,” the “Middle” singer captioned the Instagram post Thursday.

Aldean, 34, seemed to respond with a cryptic post on her Instagram Story that read, “I don’t think you truly understand how ugly the world is until you’re trying to protect your child from it.”

She and her husband, country singer Jason Aldean, share two kids together: Memphis, 4, and Navy, 3. (Jason, 45, also has two children with his ex-wife, Jessica Aldean, on whom he infamously cheated with Brittany.)

Morris’ feud with Brittany and Jason erupted in August when the “Bones” songstress claimed the beauty blogger was transphobic.

“I’d really like to thank my parents for not changing my gender when I went through my tomboy phase. I love this girly life,” Brittany wrote in an Instagram post at the time alongside a makeup tutorial video.

Jason commented on the post, “Lmao!! I’m glad they didn’t too, cause you and I wouldn’t have worked out.”

But Morris seemed to find the couples’ interaction less humorous and more harmful to the LGBTQIA+ community.

“[It’s] so easy to, like, not be a scumbag human,” Morris responded, adding that Brittany should “sell your clip-ins and zip it, Insurrection Barbie.”

Brittany fired back over the accusation, saying that her words were taken out of context.

“Karen Morris. Thanks for calling me Barbie,” she replied.

Morris has maintained that Brittany was in the wrong and doubled down on her criticism.

“It’s not like we’re talking about what your favorite color is. We’re talking about people’s lives. … It’s really sensitive,” she said while reflecting on the feud.

Amid the backlash, Jason was dropped by his PR firm of 17 years after backing his wife’s controversial comments.

The “If I Didn’t Love You” crooner has not publicly addressed the situation further. However, he seemingly threw shade at Morris when he mentioned her name during a performance this month, prompting audience members to erupt into boos.

It’s unclear whether Morris will actually dress as a “Lunatic Country Music Person” next Monday, but we’d bet Brittany will rock an “Insurrection Barbie” ‘fit.
