LaMelo Ball leaves the game with a right ankle strain
LaMelo Ball had to leave Sunday’s game ahead of schedule because of a strained right ankle. The injury occurred during the first half when he collided with Paolo Banchero from the Orlando Magic. Following an awkward landing, Ball remained on the floor for a while before needing assistance to reach the locker room.
It’s worth noting that in the previous season, Ball was absent from the Hornets’ last 19 games because of a fractured right ankle. Additionally, he had experienced multiple instances of spraining his left ankle throughout the same season.
