Lakers believe they at least one trade away from being contenders
The Lakers have less than a week to make trades this season – the trade deadline is on February 9.
With 25 wins and 28 losses the Purple and Gold find themselves in the 12th place in the Western Conference.
Recently Anthony Davis returned to action which together with the addition of Rui Hachimura gave more hope to the team.
However, according to Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, the thinking within the team is that at least one more trade is needed to make the Lakers contenders for the championship.
