Kyrie Irving can only provide an insightful answer as he was asked if he feels at home in Dallas.

Following a marquee 133-126 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday, Irving aired an interesting response in postgame and noted his appreciation on the reception of the Mavericks fanbase.

“Uh.. I’m getting there,” Irving answered upon being asked if Dallas gives him a home vibes. “Dallas has welcomed me with open arms and [it’s been] very far we have get our win on our home floor.”

Irving, who was shipped by the Brooklyn Nets in Texas prior to the trade deadline, is slated to hit unrestricted free-agency in this year’s offseason market. His looming status can only be blurry and uncertain given the notoriety he created for himself out of controversies as a former member of the Nets.

The Mavericks have pulled the trigger in order to acquire him and to be paired with franchise cornerstone Luka Doncic. As such, the future of both sides can only be determined following the conclusion of their postseason exploits soon.

Irving dropped 40 markers to complement with Doncic’s 42 points over the Sixers, as they became the first pair in Mavs history to finish 40+ points in the same game.

The Mavericks have improved their record to 33-31 as they are looking to maintain their position in the tight race of Western Conference powers.
