The Mavericks have been free falling in the standings over the last few weeks. Dallas is 3-8 over the last 11 games.

Following their most recent loss against the 76ers, the Mavs dropped below the play-in zone. With 37 wins and 40 losses they are 11th in the West.

Kyrie Irving, who scored 23 points in the loss, used strong words to describe the situation that his new team finds itself in.

“What does our future look like? I think that now, again, just where we are in the season, and where other teams are positioned already, it kind of looks like a bit of a clusterf*ck, to be honest with you, because we’re 37-40, and we’re trying to fight to get into the play-in game,” Irving said, per Tim Bontemps. “It’s not the expectations I don’t think any of us had in that locker room and me getting traded midseason”
