Knicks interested in Walker Kessler

The New York Knicks are interested in trading for Utah Jazz center Walker Kessler, but the Jazz want at least a first-round pick in return.

The Knicks have several protected picks, but none are particularly valuable. All of New York’s own picks went to the Brooklyn Nets in the Mikal Bridges trade.

Kessler has lost playing time in Utah and is currently playing in the Summer League. The Knicks need depth at center after losing Isaiah Hartenstein in free agency, leaving only Jericho Sims behind the injury-prone Mitchell Robinson.
