Knicks, GM Scott Perry to part ways after six years of collaboration
The New York Knicks won’t extend the contract of general manager Scott Perry, signalling a split up for both sides, sources told Steve Popper of Newsday.
Perry, who has been at the position since 2017-18, helped team president Leon Rose in flipping the Knicks’ season this year.
With the soon departure of Perry, this only elevates the buzz around the Knicks’ offseason plans as they will look to further improve and strengthen their core of Jalen Brunson, Julius Randle, RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley.
New York managed to compile a regular season record of 47-35 and had a second-round finish in the playoffs.
