According to NBA insider Marc Stein, there is strong mutual interest between Klay Thompson and the Dallas Mavericks as free agency approaches.
Stein reports that Thompson’s relationship with the Golden State Warriors may be irretrievable, opening the door for a potential move to Dallas.
Thompson, who was on a five-year, $190 million contract with Golden State, averaged 17.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game this past season.
The Mavericks, keen on bolstering their roster, view Thompson as a valuable addition to their lineup.
