Kemba Walker-less Monaco confidently marched to 12-1 in France
On Tuesday, AS Monaco strengthened their position in France’s Betclic Elite by winning against Le Mans with a score of 95-84, extending their lead to two games over second-placed Paris. Mike James led the scoring with 16 points, making 6 out of 12 field goals.
Matthew Strazel contributed 14 points, including four three-pointers, while Elie Okobo and Donta Hall added 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Despite missing Jordan Loyd due to a back injury, as well as Donatas Motiejunas and unregistered Kemba Walker, the defending champions, coached by Sasa Obradovic, improved to a 12-1 record, while Le Mans dropped to 6-7.
In the losing effort, DeVante’ Jones recorded a double-double with 20 points and 12 assists for the Basketball Champions League team.
