Four-time NBA All-Star Kemba Walker remains a free agent after getting waived by the Pistons in October.

The 32-year-old point guard is not worried about his future and is taking his time to fully heal his knee that bothered his last season.

Via Zach Braziller of New York Post:

“I’m just sitting back being patient, just giving myself a chance to continue to get my knee right, get my legs stronger, get my body stronger,” The Bronx native said on “The Woj Pod” show. “I’m just going to wait it out, I’m going to be patient. I think my time will come. I really do. When it does come, I’m going to try my best to be as ready as possible.”

According to Walker’s former coach in college Jim Calhoun, the player has already worked out quietly for two people and should sing a deal in the near future.

Last season Walker averaged 11.6 points, 3 rebounds and 3.5 assists in 25.6 minutes per game for the Knicks.
