Kelsey Plum Sets Franchise Record For Made Threes in a Single-Season

Kelsey Plum made some history on Tuesday during the Aces’ 92-76 loss to the Atlanta Dream (12-14).

The reigning Sixth Woman of the Year is coming off signing a two-year extension and won the All-Star Game MVP. Plum scored 17 points on 3-7 shooting from long distance, taking over Coach Becky Hammon’s previous franchise for most made triples in a single-season.

Plum dished out seven assists in 30 minutes of action against the Dream. The double-digit loss to Atlanta cuts the Aces’ post-All-Star break win streak at three in a row. Las Vegas beat the Liberty twice and outlasted the Connecticut Sun on Sunday before they played Atlanta on Tuesday.

The Aces have a chance to win their fourth game out of five on Thursday against the Fever (5-23). Las Vegas (18-8) currently holds the best record in the West and the second-best in the WNBA overall.
