Kelly Ripa Reveals the NSFW Bathroom Décor She’s Been Gifted
Kelly Ripa loves a little toilet humor.
The Live With Kelly and Mark host mentioned a piece of NSFW décor hanging in the bathroom of her and husband Mark Consuelos’ New York City home amid a discussion on household etiquette during their show’s Nov. 6 episode.
“Today on my social media,” Kelly told the audience, “Maybe I’ll post a photograph of a very inflammatory phrase that my girlfriend gave to me that’s embroidered.”
Staying true to her word, the 54-year-old shared a photo of the needlepoint sign in an Instagram Story post later that day, revealing its blunt message: “Put the seat down you f–ker.” She captioned the pic writing, “As promised.”
And as she’d teased on her show, it had the perfect place in her powder room.
“I have it above the toilet because it says something so rotten, but so accurate that we all need it,” she explained during the show. “We all need to have this hanging over our toilets. It’s a gentle reminder to put the toilet seat down, but it uses language that is so foul and so vile, but with beautiful embroidery and hearts around it, that it’s a real showstopper.”
