Julius Randle and Knicks taking their time on extension talks
Julius Randle became eligible for an extension in early August, but neither he nor the New York Knicks are rushing to finalize a deal.
Despite the delay, Randle is excited about the team’s offseason moves, particularly the addition of Mikal Bridges, and believes they have the potential to be special.
Randle has two years remaining on the four-year extension he signed in 2021. He could sign a three-year extension before the season starts if he opts into his 2025-26 player option.
