In a surprising offseason move, the Milwaukee Bucks orchestrated a blockbuster trade, acquiring Damian Lillard and bidding farewell to seasoned point guard Jrue Holiday, a key contributor to the Bucks’ 2021 championship triumph.

As Holiday prepares to face his former team for the first time, he reflected on the transaction.

“I think they got what they wanted, so I can’t be mad at that,” he said, via ClutchPoints. Despite the departure, he expresses contentment with his current situation, stating, “I’m in the best place that I can be to compete against them.”

This season, the 33-year-old point guard has found a new home with the Boston Celtics, averaging 12.8 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 5.1 assists in 34.6 minutes per game.
