After ten years with the Wizards, John Wall was traded to the Rockets for Russell Westbrook in December, 2020.

It was a different environment than the one he was used in Washington because Houston was tanking. Wall recalled a 20 losses in a row and even mentioned that Justin Patton was on the starting lineup.

“My first year in Houston we were tanking we lost 20 in a row, we was tryna lose on purpose… We was starting n*ggas named Justin Patton,” Wall said, per Bradeaux on Twitter.

Patton played 15 games for the Rockets that year, starting 6 times. He averaged 5.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists in 19 minutes per game. Currently he is playing for Cholet in France.
