The Boston Celtics prevailed over the Toronto Raptors in a tightly contested Sunday game, 106-104, but the club and its fandom have endured a chunky anxiety involving both Marcus Smart and Robert Williams III.

Before the horn of the first half sounded, Smart accidentally tweaked his own left ankle, mincing in pain after receiving the ball in an offensive possession. Meanwhile, Williams appeared to have tweaked his left knee hyperextension even before the second half slides in.

The two were eventually announced by the Celtics, which made initial health doubts from the fans.

As such in the postgame, interim coach Joe Mazzulla made it known that both players are doing great amid the injury scare. Smart’s x-rays in his ankle went negative in injury result, while Williams’ knee condition has “nothing serious” and was only shelved for precautionary purposes.

The Cs have extended their winning streak to nine as they leave Toronto. They will continue their road trip down south as they are set to face the Orlando Magic on Monday.
