Jennifer Lopez ‘enjoyed’ Matt Damon chat amid Ben Affleck divorce
Jennifer Lopez and Matt Damon remain good friends despite her divorce from his BFF, Ben Affleck, according to a new report.
The “On the Floor” singer and the “Martian” star made headlines after being seen holding hands and having a “deep” conversation at the Toronto International Film Festival last Friday.
A source told People Monday that Lopez, 55, is still “very close” with Damon, 53, and “enjoyed spending time” with him at the premiere of their movie “Unstoppable,” in which she stars and he produced.
An eyewitness previously told the magazine that J.Lo and Damon talked for more than 20 minutes at the afterparty.
“Jen and Matt began talking and had a long, deep conversation,” the spy shared.
Affleck, 52, was not present for the red carpet, premiere or afterparty even though he co-produced “Unstoppable” with his longtime friend.
Damon and Affleck have been BFFs since they were kids in Boston before rising to fame with their Oscar-winning film “Good Will Hunting” in 1997.
Most recently, the two were seen grabbing dinner with Damon’s wife, Luciana Damon, and their daughters in Los Angeles on Aug. 25.
Affleck has kept a fairly low profile in Hollywood since his split from Lopez, having only been photographed heading to his office, spending time with his kids and hanging out at his rental home in Brentwood, Calif.
Meanwhile, the “Hustlers” actress spent her summer traveling before making her first red carpet appearance at the “Unstoppable” premiere since filing for divorce from the “Air” star on Aug. 20.
Lopez notably rocked a revenge dress — a silver metallic Tamara Ralph number with side cutouts — as she posed for photos at the event.
Eagle-eyed fans also noticed that the “Let’s Get Loud” singer seemed to have ditched the sentimental infinity sign tattoo she got for Affleck last year.
It is unclear whether Lopez permanently removed the ink or covered it with makeup at TIFF.
