Jayson Tatum: “As a unit we didn’t play well”
The Boston Celtics star forward Jayson Tatum talked to the media after the team’s 128-102 loss to the Miami Heat on Sunday night in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference title series. Tatum posted 14 points and Jaylen Brown added 12 for Boston.
“Just being transparent is unfortunate. We obviously wanted to come out and perform better play better, have a different outcome or at least give ourselves a chance,” Tatum said postgame.
“It’s tough for whatever reason. We didn’t, didn’t have it tonight. This point of the season, you know, you don’t want to say that … as a unit we didn’t, we didn’t play well.”
