Jaylen Brown believes Celtics can win title, will emphasize defense at training camp
Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown feels confident that the roster can win it all in 2024 if a strong defensive identity is established.

Reporter: “As you look towards next year, do you think this roster has what it takes to win an NBA championship?”
Brown: “Of course. Of course. I’m excited to get started with the journey as well. I think what Kristaps [Porzingis] can bring to us defensively, and in addition, some of our other guys can bring to us defensively. I wanna make sure that’s where we hang our hats this year. And that starts with me, that starts with Jayson [Tatum], that starts with guys, Rob [Williams]. With Marcus [Smart] gone, we don’t want our defensive identity to go out the door as well. So we gotta really emphasize that at the start of training camp.”
