Jay-Z’s ex-protégé, Foxy Brown, appeared to subtly weigh in on the troubling rape accusations against the Roc Nation founder.
Brown, 46, shared posts on her Instagram Stories that said “WOW” and “WAIT” with a shocked face emoji on Monday.
On her third and final IG Story slide, Brown posted a cold face emoji.
The Post has reached out to Brown’s rep for comment.
Brown has not confirmed that her posts were about Jay-Z, 55, being accused of raping a 13-year-old girl with Sean “Diddy” Combs at an afterparty following the MTV Video Music Awards in 2000.
Jay-Z, whose real name is Shawn Carter, has denied the allegations.
Brown, whose real name is Inga DeCarlo Fung Marchand, frequently collaborated with Jay-Z including on her hit 1996 track “I’ll Be.” She was signed to Def Jam Recordings while Jay-Z was president of the record label.
In October, Brown publicly called out the “fake news” that she had a sexual relationship with Jay-Z while she was underage, and that he made her sign an NDA.
“NDA? Ain’t a MF alive that could stop my story. NDA on my sh*t gon run 100 mil,” she wrote on Instagram, according to Billboard.
“Stop playin’ wit ma name dyin’ for a comment! Can’t spin me with the sucker sh*t to take Hov down. Betta ask ’bout tha cloth I’m cut from…Y’all want me to be anti-Hov so bad,” Brown added.
On Sunday, Jay-Z was named as a defendant in a lawsuit initially filed in October against Combs, 55 — who is facing federal charges of racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution.
In the amended complaint filed in New York on Dec. 8, the woman — identified only as Jane Doe — claimed she was approached by Combs’ alleged limo driver, who invited her to an afterparty while she tried to get into the 2000 VMAs in New York City. When she got to the afterparty residence, she alleged she was asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement.
At some point during the afterparty, Jane Doe said she was allegedly drugged after being served a drink and “held down by Carter as he vaginally raped her, while Combs and Celebrity B watched. After Carter finished, he stepped back toward the wall. Combs then stepped forward and vaginally raped Plaintiff while Carter and Celebrity B watched.”
Jay-Z denied the “heinous” allegations against him in a statement. He called the lawsuit a “blackmail attempt” and vowed to fight the legal battle and demanded that Jane Doe reveal her identity.
The 24-time Grammy Award winner also said he was heartbroken that his wife, Beyoncé, 43, and their three children — Blue Ivy, 12, and twins Rumi and Sir, 7 — have to deal with this situation.
“My wife and I will have to sit our children down, one of whom is at the age where her friends will surely see the press and ask questions about the nature of these claims, and explain the cruelty and greed of people,” he said.
“I mourn yet another loss of innocence. Children should not have to endure such at their young age. It is unfair to have to try to understand inexplicable degrees of malice meant to destroy families and human spirit,” the father of three added.
Jay-Z ignored the rape accusations when he attended the “Mufasa: The Lion King” premiere in Hollywood, Calif. on Monday night. He posed on the red carpet with Beyoncé and Blue Ivy, who are both featured in the film, and his mother-in-law Tina Knowles.
The Post reached out to Jay-Z and Beyoncé’s team for comment.
Combs, meanwhile, is behind bars in a Brooklyn detention center after being arrested in September and charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charges and is going to trial in May 2025.
