Jamal Murray: “We’re just a very unselfish team”

The Nuggets are one win away from reaching the NBA Finals for the first time in the history of the franchise after taking a 3-0 lead in the Western Conference Finals against the Lakers.

Jamal Murray, who has been unstoppable in this series, torched Los Angeles in the first half by dropping 30 of his 37 points in Game 3.

During the postgame press conference the 26-year-old point guard talked about how the Nuggets are playing unselfish basketball which helps them win games.

“We’re just a very unselfish team,” Murray said. “It may not be your night, it may not be your quarter. I though Aaron [Gordon] has done a great job all playoffs just finding his matchups and guarding, getting back in transition, being at the rim, being big. Bruce [Brown] steps up.

“Everybody realizes when we need something, we need a spark. It could be Joker, it could be me, it could be Bruce, Jeff [Green] off the bench whether it’s a chase down block or a charge, or something. Everybody has something that they can come and impact the game with. And I just thought tonight was another example of everybody stepping up in the right way.”
