Jake Paul uses pregnancy announcement to slay Tommy Fury

Jake Paul has taken a brutal swipe at boxing rival Tommy Fury after their long-awaited bout was postponed for a second time last month.

The celebrity duo first signed to fight in Dec. 2021, but Fury pulled out of the bout after suffering a broken rib in training, with former UFC champion Tyron Woodley replacing him for a rematch.

The pair then tried again this August, but the British light-heavyweight was withdrawn amid a visa issue.

And after Fury announced he was expecting his first child with reality TV show personality Molly-Mae Hague, Paul couldn’t help himself.

“Shocking,” the YouTube star wrote on Twitter. “Tommy usually pulls out.”

Paul will return to the boxing ring next month, facing UFC legend Anderson Silva in Arizona.

The Brazilian will be his first opponent with a prior boxing record, having had four wins and one loss in the ring.

Fury is yet to fight since defeating Daniel Bocianski in April.

The 23-year-old was in attendance at the AO Arena to support training partner Joseph Parker over the weekend when he called Paul on FaceTime.

Paul was heard saying on the call: “Tommy, lets make the fight happen buddy. Let’s make it happen.”

Fury responded: “I’ll see you soon.”
