Ghobrial did a fine job with the teams, as mentioned above. The defense was again, average. The dormant pass rush is troubling and the lack of takeaways has even the most seasoned analysts puzzled.

The Giants did manage to contain the passing game, holding the Cowboys to 195 yards. It was the fifth game this season an opponent has failed to reach 200 yards passing. The Giants have yet to allow a passer over 300 yards in a game this year.

Brian Daboll says he isn’t concerned about his job security but numbers don’t lie. The Giants are 2-10 and 8-21 since the beginning of 2023. His offense has not run smoothly all season. Yes, they scored over 20 points in this game but against a Dallas defense that had allowed an average of 33 over their last six games, that’s not saying a whole lot.
