How to Watch IGN’s MLB® The Show™ 23 Online Co-Op Crossplay Showdown
It’s IGN talent vs. Influencers in a MLB The Show 23 co-op battle…with a twist!
To celebrate the start of the baseball season and MLB The Show 23’s revamped online co-op mode, IGN presents the IGN’s MLB® The Show™ 23 Online Co-Op Crossplay Showdown. It’ll pit content creators Typical Gamer and GoldGlove against IGN talent Seth Macy and Jesse Gil, with IGN’s Clint Gage and Jeffrey Vega commentating on the gameplay LIVE in a TikTok simulcast.
But these MLBTS 23 co-op clashes won’t simply focus on which team is most dominant on the diamond. As the hardball happens on the screen, off of it the participants will be presented with some disruptive commentary from IGN’s Jeffrey Vega. What does he have up his sleeve? You’ll have to watch to find out!
What’s new with MLB The Show’s Online Co-Op Mode?
MLBTS 23’s upgraded online co-op mode features some key changes, the biggest of which is the mode’s Reward Path. It allows you to create a team with your friends so you can play against randomly selected opponents for a chance to earn in-game rewards (a.k.a. Packs). There’s also Ranked Co-Op, and a Penalty System that means if a user leaves a Ranked Co-Op game before it finishes, a penalty timer will appear. Offenders won’t be able to queue up for another game until the timer runs out.
