Heat not making Kyle Lowry inactive due to ‘disciplinary or conditioning reasons’
The ongoing absence of Kyle Lowry is plainly motivated from the fact that the veteran guard remains unhealthy.
Per Barry Jackson of Miami Herald, the Heat continues to shelve Lowry as he is still recovering from his knee issues, not because of certain issues like “disciplinary or conditioning reasons.” As such, the club stands hopeful that he’ll be able to return soon this season.
“There remains hope that he will play again this season. According to a source, Lowry is not being held out by the team for any nebulous or disciplinary or conditioning reasons. He believes his knee is not healthy enough for him to play effectively.”
Monday marks the 13th-straight game that Lowry hasn’t suited up for the Heat. He remains out since early February upon sustaining his knee injury.
With the Heat battling inconsistencies as they aim to turn their tables around this rough season, they can only hope that Lowry will be able to be activated soon.
