Former UFC star: LeBron James definitely uses performance enhancing drugs
The exceptional longevity by LeBron James has helped him break the all-time scoring record previously held by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
The four-time NBA champion is considered to be the greatest basketball player ever by some. It is often debated whether James of Michael Jordan is the GOAT.
According to former UFC star Chael Sonnen who has admitted to cheating by using performance enhancing drugs (PEDs), LeBron is also using them and they definitely make a different.
Sonnen even said that he and James have the same ‘drug guy’ who provides them with the PEDs.
Via Basketball Forever:
“Other basketball players will hear about what LeBron does and go, ‘That doesn’t matter.’ If you knew what these performance enhancers did, you’d know it does matter,” Sonnen said in a new episode of the Flagrant podcast.
“We have the same drug guy, I know exactly what he’s doing,” Sonnen claimed. “EPO [Erythropoietin] matters, it’s the reason LeBron takes it. It matters. EPO increases your red blood cells, which gives you the endurance to play all game long… It’s the king of performance enhancers. EPO is king to everything. That’s why cyclists do it.”
In his 20th year in the league James is averaging 29.5 points, 8.4 rebounds and 6.9 assists in 36.1 minutes per game.
