Flight attendant forced to hold up toilet door that came loose minutes into 16-hour flight to New York

This must have left her down in the dumps.

A Cathy Pacific flight attendant was left with a loo-ny job on a 16-hour flight to New York this week — holding up a bathroom door after it broke minutes into the trip.

The bathroom door came off its hinges just three minutes into flight CX840 flying from Hong Kong International Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport in Queens on Monday, according to the South China Morning Post.

Photos show a fed-up looking flight attendant holding the detached door in place while she is strapped in her seat.

Other images show staff members apparently attempting to try and put the broken door back in place.

It was not immediately clear how the door came apart of it anyone had been in the restroom at the time of the incident.

Flight tracking websites showed the flight landed as scheduled at about 5 p.m. Monday.

Cathay Pacific said it was investigating the incident.

Cathay Pacific said that it was aware of the incident and that its engineering team was investigating.
