Fixture list revealed ahead of 2024-25 campaign

Preparations for the 2024-25 Premier League season are already underway and the fixture list has now been revealed.

All 20 top-flight teams have discovered the order in which they will play their opponents and there are plenty of mouthwatering clashes on the cards across the entire campaign.

An opening weekend bout between Chelsea vs Manchester City is on the cards, while Manchester United will host Fulham in the curtain raiser at Old Trafford on Friday, 16 August.

Newcomers Ipswich Town play Liverpool at Portman Road and Championship champions Leicester will welcome Tottenham to the King Power Stadium on the Monday night to close out Gameweek 1.

Two weeks later, Liverpool will head to arch-rivals Manchester United as Arne Slot clashes with fellow Dutchman Erik ten Hag at the Theatre of Dreams.

Fans will be treated to another mouthwatering derby on 14 September when Spurs host Arsenal, where the Gunners will be looking to make it three wins in a row away to their rivals.

As if that wasn’t tough enough for Mikel Arteta’s side, they will then travel to champions Manchester City in what could be Pep Guardiola’s last season in charge.

They will have to wait until 26 October to take on Liverpool and the good news is by the end of the month they will have already faced four of last season’s top six.

Manchester United and Chelsea will clash on 2 November and on the same weekend Spurs host Aston Villa, two teams that will be hoping to challenge the top three this season.

Old rivals Liverpool and Manchester City will face-off at Anfield on 30 November and a London derby is on the cards during the same weekend when West Ham host Arsenal.

Boxing Day in December will throw up a few festive treats as Chelsea welcome Fulham in a West London derby and Newcastle take on Aston Villa.

The excitement does not stop in 2025 as Wolves take on Nottingham Forest and Aston Villa host Leicester in a battle for the Midlands.

Fans will have to wait until April to see the reverse Merseyside derby between Liverpool and Everton, but they will have plenty to keep them busy in the meantime, including Arsenal vs Man City in North London.

As we approach the business end of the campaign, Crystal Palace will welcome Brighton to Selhurst Park and the second Manchester derby of the season will take place on 5 April.

All cards are on the table for the final day on 25 May and the two teams who battled it out for the title are away this year.

Manchester City will travel to Fulham and Arsenal will make the trip down to the South Coast to play Southampton.

Liverpool will be at home to Crystal Palace.
