Ex-NBA cager Anthony Morrow facing charges of assault, kidnapping, threats

Anthony Morrow is facing accusations of strangling and abuse from a woman in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The former NBA cager is now dealing charges of assault by strangulation, second-degree kidnapping, and communicating threats due the said incident, wherein the victim was being dated by Morrow during that time.

Per Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s office arrest records, Morrow was captured by the authorities last Feb. 10 and was then released via $10,000 bound.

Morrow, 37, entered the NBA in 2008 as an undrafted prospect out of Georgia Tech. He proceeded to remain in the association for nearly a decade, playing in seven different clubs, tallying a career average of 9.4 points, 2.2 boards and 41.7 percent efficiency from three.

Last 2021, Morrow joined the Oklahoma City Thunder for a Lifestyle services and engagement associate position.
