Scoring legend Dominique Wilkins still can’t understand why he wasn’t named to the NBA’s 50 Greatest Players at the 1997 All-Star Game in Cleveland, Ohio.

(via VladTV):

“That was a joke, because at that time, I was the seventh all-time leading scorer in history. So I’m like, ‘What?’ But life comes full circle; I’m top 75. And then you see some of the rankings and see where I’m ranked now. I’m ranked between 20 and 35. So I’m like, ‘Well, how did I miss the top 50?’ But it doesn’t really matter at this point. You’re a part of the 75 Greatest Players to ever play. So for me, I’m cool with that.”
