Does Jenn End Up With Anyone On ‘The Bachelorette’? ‘The Bachelorette’ 2024 Finale Spoilers

The Bachelorette finale is less than a week away, so naturally, members of Bachelor Nation are furiously scrambling figure out how Season 21 ends for Jenn Tran.

Following its eventful “Men Tell All” special, The Bachelorette aired a fresh finale preview that showed Jenn’s final two contestants, Devin Strader and Marcus Shoberg, meeting her family in Hawaii. We also got a peek at tough conversations, heightened emotions, and a major cliffhanger that has everyone guessing.

During the “Men Tell All” episode, franchise host Jesse Palmer called Season 21’s final installment a “groundbreaking season finale everybody’s gonna be talking about.” He also promised, “You are going to be on the edge of your seat the entire time.” And ahead of her season premiere, Jenn told Decider she was “very happy with the way everything panned out” and “very excited for it all to come to light.”

So who does Jenn end up with on The Bachelorette? Does she leave the Season 21 finale engaged to Devin or Marcus? Is she currently single? And what’s the shocking proposal day twist Bachelor Nation is predicting in what’s being called another “unprecedented” ending?

Here are Bachelor Nation’s most popular Bachelorette Season 21 finale theories, including Reality Steve spoilers.

First things first: It’s time to check in with Bachelor Nation’s favorite spoiler, Steve Carbone, aka Reality Steve. As we know from Joey Graziadei’s season of The Bachelor, even Reality Steve gets it wrong sometimes, but he does have a definitive prediction for Jenn’s finale.

In a July 10 episode-by-episode spoilers post, Reality Steve wrote, “The opening scene of Episode 1 makes you think that Jenn leaves alone or rejects seemingly Devin (because of the off white jacket of the guy she’s talking to), but we know this show loves to pull editing tricks. Like last season, the first clip we saw on Joey’s first episode was him at the altar on final rose ceremony day, crying, one rose on the mantle, walking away, taking off his jacket, and making you think he left alone. Jenn didn’t leave alone. Jenn is engaged to Devin.” GASP!

For those who still have trust issues after the Daisy/Kelsey spoiler mixup, Reality Steve attempts to put you at ease. “Now, last season I had it wrong for 3 months before it changed. So there’s nothing I can really say to make anyone believe this is how the show ends,” he wrote. “Based on all the information I’ve received this season since filming ended, this is what I’m reporting the ending to be. No answer I give on ‘how sure’ I am will satisfy anyone who doesn’t want this to be the ending. So I don’t put any percentages on it or anything like that. It won’t matter. This is the info I have, so here you go.”

  • Marcus Leaves Before Proposal Day

Keeping in line with the “Jenn and Devin are endgame” theory, another finale possibility is that Marcus Shoberg exits the show ahead of proposal day. We know from the “Men Tell All” preview that he definitely meets Jenn’s family in Hawaii, but he made it clear during Fantasy Suite Week that he didn’t love Jenn yet and was having some serious doubts, fears, and hesitations about the speedy proposal ahead.

In the “Men Tell All” finale teaser, we saw Marcus tell Jenn’s mom that he wants to get to a place where he can propose, implying that he’s still not there yet. Later on, Marcus also tells Jenn that he’s “struggling” and she reminds him that they’re running out of time. “I know that I love you. I know that I don’t want to give up on us,” he says, prompting them both to get emotional. Does Marcus self-eliminate? Does Jenn send him home? Only time will tell, but let the record show, the fan theories don’t seem to be in Marcus’ favor…

  • Does Jenn Propose To Her Man?

During the finale previews, we see Jenn talking with Jesse Palmer (presumably ahead of the final rose/proposal). He says, “No Bachelorette has ever done this before. You sure you want to do this?” She replies, “I have to choose myself. I’m done letting men dictate my relationships…I really need to follow my heart today. What I’m about to do today is something I never thought that I would do. But I have to do what’s right for me.” What we see next is a clip of Jenn standing in front of a man saying, “I can’t let you propose to me.”

The implication from the edit is that Jenn turns down a proposal, leaves the final rose on the podium, and finishes the season alone. But Bachelor Nation has another possible explanation: Jenn shuts down her man’s proposal because she wants to propose to him, which would indeed make Bachelorette history.

While Reality Steve isn’t fully convinced that Jenn proposes, he offered a solid breakdown of the potentially misleading edit. “There isn’t an ounce of sadness in her face or a tear in her eye. It’s almost like she’s about to follow it up with, ‘…because I want to choose you,’ or ‘…until I give you the final rose.’ Those are just guesses…You’ll see that her face doesn’t match up with what she’s saying. Unless she’s the most unemotive person ever, I can’t imagine you uttering that line to someone and not feeling some sort of sadness. There’s nothing in her face when she says it,” he wrote in his spoiler post.

“Jen [is] standing there at the final altar with Devin, since we know what Devin suit looks like and saying, ‘I just can’t have you propose to me.’” he continued. “…I don’t know what that scene is, but considering the way they teased Joey season last year, the same exact way, when the first episode opened up, it was the shot of him at the final rose ceremony, standing there at the altar with one rose on the table and him walking away, crying, taking his jacket off, talking to producers, and they wanted to make you think that he left single and nobody wanted him… It looks like now, I don’t know what it is, but. I mean, it could be something literally as stupid as, ‘I don’t want to, I can’t have you propose to me because I want to propose to you.’ They could have just left that part of the sentence out.”

  • Jenn Ends The Season Alone

While Reality Steve doesn’t think Jenn leaves Hawaii alone (and neither do we TBH) that’s where the edit is leading members of Bachelor Nation, so we do have to consider it a possibility. As a reminder, Jenn told Decider she was “very happy with the way everything panned out” in her season, so that sounds like a happy ending to us! And typically in this franchise, a happy ending means an engagement!

  • Jenn Gets Engaged, But Is Single Today

One other theory floating around is that Jenn did leave the show engaged, but her and her winner have since broken up, which we’ve technically seen before. Bachelor Nation’s beloved zacharyreality recently shared his thoughts on this via TikTok, saying, “I think she picks Devin. Is she gonna propose to him? NO! Why would she propose? That’s a bad rumor. Devin and Jenn are gonna get engaged and then after the show, after they’re done filming, Devin and Jenn break up. And they’re not together today.”

“I don’t think it will be as dramatic as Rachel and Tino’s breakup, but I think it might be kind of similar to that. I feel like Jenn, on social media, has been giving single,” he continued.

While we’ll have to wait to see if there’s any truth to this theory, we do know that going into the finale Jenn is in love with Marcus and he hasn’t been able to reciprocate those feelings. And Devin fell hard for Jenn, but she took a while to catch up. So will those uneven emotions follow the contestants home? Only time will tell.

Be sure to tune into the three-hour live finale event live Tuesday, September 3 at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC to find out.
