Did Taylor Swift drop a ‘Reputation’ Easter egg with red boots at Chiefs’ season opener?

Taylor Swift made her return to Arrowhead Stadium on Thursday, wearing a skin-baring double denim look to support boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs as they played the Baltimore Ravens.

While the “Bejeweled” singer, 34, chose a Versace corset ($1,325) and Grlfrnd shorts ($185 $102),for the 2024 NFL season opener game in Missouri, piling on diamond and gold jewelry, it was another accessory — her thigh-high, dark red Giuseppe Zanotti boots ($1,650 $966) — that had people talking.

Taking to social media, fans couldn’t help but compare the statement shoes to a similar Christian Louboutin pair she wore in 2017’s “Look What You Made Me Do” music video, speculating once again that “Reputation (Taylor’s Version)” could be released soon.

“It’s giving reputation it’s giving karma. She’s out in style today 🧡🖤” one person wrote on X (formerly Twitter), sharing side-by-side shots of her game day ensemble and the throwback look.

“AHHHH THE BOOTS ARE GIVING LWYMMD,” another tweet read.

While Swift is no stranger to rocking Easter eggs in her outfits, even hinting at her latest album, “The Tortured Poet’s Department,” months before it dropped, it’s also likely that she was simply working red into her outfit to honor the Chiefs.

The Eras Tour artists has notably worn plenty of over-the-knee boots in the past, and even left people wondering if her “Reputation” era was in the works after she sported a long snake-printed pair in January to no avil.

Last fall, she stepped out with Selena Gomez in slightly shorter, wine-colored boots and even rocked a similar denim and statement shoes combo when the Chiefs played the New York Jets in October 2023.

In fact, it’s probable that Swift was more focused on her top rather than her shoes; the superstar has previously worn the same Versace corset top in a black satin style with Travis when they were photographed at “SNL” in Oct 2023 when she made a special appearance to introduce musical guest Ice Spice.

And, of course, Swift showed her love in a more obvious wear, adding the “TNT” diamond bracelet by Wove that Kelce gifted her last year.

It seems the blond star is a good luck charm all by herself as the Chiefs eked out a win over the Ravens.
