In a confessional, the 27-year-old revealed why she could actually see herself marrying the VIP host one day down the line.
“I just feel like in the past with men, it was hard to think about ‘the one,'” Maddi confessed. “And, in this moment, I’m looking into a glimpse of my future right now and it doesn’t look all that scary.”
And after the Elvis impersonator pronounced them “partners for life,” Joe recounted the moment he fell in love with Maddi years before they officially started dating.
“Even though me and Maddi started dating four months ago, I think our love story goes way before that,” the 29-year-old reflected. “Especially mine. This is not a real wedding, but it will be a real wedding one day soon. I just want to lock her down.”
Prior to the show’s season three premiere, the couple teased their families’ reactions to their quickie “wedding.”
“It’s been on my mind for a while longer than hers,” Joe told E! News in January. “We’re also just crazy and very spontaneous people. Even our families were just kind of like, ‘Oh these idiots.'”
