Cavaliers point guard Darius Garland says he might need a face mask or googles to protect himself from getting hurt by opposing defenders.

He complained about the no-calls by the referees after Cleveland lost against Indiana. According to Garland, the opponents have been fouling him the whole season, but the official would not call fouls.

It’s not about the physicality, Garland says, which he is okay with. But it’s the obvious fouls that should be called.

Via Chris Fedor of Cleveland Plain Dealer:

“Just getting hacked all season,” Garland said following Thursday’s 135-126 loss to the Indiana Pacers. “Nothing has changed. The physicality isn’t a factor at all. It’s the whistle not being blown at the right time when it’s a foul, an obvious foul. Some of this stuff we should be reviewing.”

Garland is averaging 21.5 points, 2.7 rebounds and 7.8 assists in 36 minutes per game for the Cavs.
