Daily Deals: WD Black SN850X PS5 SSD, Mario + Rabbids Sparks of Hope, SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Gaming Headset, and More
The daily deals today include the lowest price we’ve ever seen for a WD Black PS5-compatible SSD, 50% off Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope, the best Steelseries wireless gaming headset on sale, a crazy powerful Alienware RTX 4090 gaming PC, and more.
WD Black SN850X 2TB PS5 SSD From $159.99
Amazon has the newest WD Black Series SN850X M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD for the best price we’ve seen. In fact, this is lower than the price we saw on Black Friday. The SN850X is the successor to the SN850 SSD. It has newer flash chips (BiCS5 vs BiCS4) and an updated firmware, which combined offer improved sequential and random read/write speeds. For PC gamers, there’s also an updated Game Mode 2.0 utility that’s designed to tune the SSD for better performance during gaming sessions.
Matched WD: Samsung 980 Pro 2TB M.2 SSD with Heatsink for Only $179.99
Samsung SSDs need no introduction. They’ve made some of the most popular and reliable PS5 SSDs on the market. The 980 Pro has been out for a while now, and it’s still Samsung’s fastest M.2 PCIe SSD. It is fully PS5 compatible in terms of form factor and performance, with blistering speeds of up to 7,100MB/s. It goes toe to toe with other well-known options like the WD Black SN850 and the Seagate Firecuda 530.
Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope for Switch for $29.99
This is the first time we’ve ever seen the price drop this low. Amazon has the Mario + Rabbids: Sparks of Hope game for the Nintendo Switch for only $29.99, a massive 50% price drop. If you liked the first Mario + Rabbods game, I think you will love Sparks of Hope. I personally played and enjoyed Kingdom Battle, but Sparks of Hope is, in my opinion, a much more polished game. Mario + Rabbids is an XCOM-like turn based tactical strategy game that’s different from your standard Mario fare. It’s also a lot more challenging than the cute creature outfits might suggest.
SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Gaming Headset with ANC and Dual Swappable Batteries for $306.99
The best wireless gaming headset of 2022 is on sale today. Amazon has the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro wireless gaming headset for $306.99, a 12% price drop from its original $350 MSRP. You can read our IGN review to see why we think this is the best gaming headset you can buy. This is the latest model with active noise cancellation. One major advantage of this headset is the hot-swappable battery. There’s one in the headset and there’s another one charging in the included DAC. You’ll never run out of power!
HP OMEN 25L RTX 3070 Gaming PC for $1210
Here’s a pretty nice deal on an excellent gaming PC for around $1200. This HP OMEN 25L laptop features a 12th gen Intel Core i7-12700 12-core Alder Lake CPU, GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD, and 1TB HDD. The RTX 3070 is a very solid video card for this price level… in fact I don’t think you’ll find another prebuilt PC with a better card. It will easily get you 60fps+ at up to 1440p gaming.
$700 Off Alienware Aurora R15 Intel Core i9-13900KF Raptor Lake RTX 4090 Gaming PC
Dell (Alienware) is offering $700 off this totally badass Alienware Aurora gaming PC. No that doesn’t make it cheap, but this is pretty much Dell’s top of the line gaming PC with everything you could ever want. Specs include the new 13th gen Intel Core i9-1300KF 24-core Raptor Lake CPU (equal to or better than the AMD Ryzen 9 7950X), GeForce RTX 4090 GPU, 32GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM, 1TB SSD, and 1TB HDD. The PC has been upgraded with Alienware’s best Cryo-Tech 240mm AIO CPU liquid cooling, a massive 1350W power supply, and a clear side panel to show off all of your contents.
Apple Watch Ultra for $729.99
Amazon is offering Apple’s highest end watch, the Apple Watch Ultra, for $729.99, a $70 price drop from its original $800 MSRP. The extravangantly priced Ultra is designed to withstand more extreme outdoor activities than your typical Apple watch, including diving. It features both GPS and cellular connectivity, a 49mm corrosion-resistant rugged titanium case with an extra durable Sapphire crystal glass watch face, a handy physical “action” button on the side, the Oceanic+ app which functions like a mini dive computer, 100m of water resistance, a more accurate dual-frequency GPS, and a longer 36-hour battery life.
Persona 5 Strikers (PS4) for $7.98
Persona 5 was one of the best RPGs to grace the PS4 console in recent years. Unless you rebought the game in its admittedly far superior Royal edition, the only other way to get more out of the Persona 5 world would be its sequel, Persona 5 Strikers. This isn’t a turn-based RPG like the original game. Instead it’s more of a real-time action RPG similar to Dynasty Warriors. However, it’s still very fun and has the original characters (and voice actors) reprising their roles for a summer vacation romp all across Japan.
2nd Gen Apple AirPods Pro for $199.99
The 2nd gen Apple AirPods Pro truly wireless noise cancelling earbuds is back down to Black Friday pricing. Amazon currently has it for $199, a price drop of $50. The Apple AirPods Pro is one of the best sounding “truly wireless” earbuds you’ll find, especially at this price point. “Truly wireless” earbuds have no wires whatsoever, even to each other. In addition to the excellent sound quality, the AirPods Pro is the only AirPods earbuds with active noise cancelling technology.
$100 Off Alienware’s 2nd Generation 34″ Quantum-Dot OLED Gaming Monitor
Dell is offering the Alienware AW3423DWF 34″ 3440×1440 Curved 1ms 165Hz QD-OLED gaming monitor for $999.99, a price drop of $100 off its MSRP. Note that this is Alienware’s 2nd generation version of the original AW3423DW monitor that’s priced at $1299.99. The $200 price savings is because Alienware decided to remove the G-SYNC Ultimate module (and thus, certification). The AW3423DWF is still G-SYNC compatible and aside from a few other differences like color, footprint, and port layout, the monitor is largely identical.
GeForce RTX 4090 Starting at $1659.99
Here are some RTX 4090s at or close to MSRP! Everybody knows by now that the RTX 4090 is the undisputed king of the hill. It’s significantly more powerful than any other NVIDIA card out there. It’s laughably more powerful than any AMD card, thanks to its support for DLSS 3.0 and it’s marvelous domination of ray tracing tech.
