Mikel Merino drops back from his false nine position to take Rice’s spot with Leandro Trossard coming into the attack.

The other change made by Mikel Arteta from the side that lost to PSG was the inclusion of Ben White at right-back in place of Jurrien Timber, who drops to the bench.
