Coby White: “Coming into the league, my main objective was to just get better every day”
Chicago Bulls guard Coby White talked about his mindset when he entered the NBA after Saturday’s 124-118 home win vs. the New Orleans Pelicans (31 points/9 rebounds/6 assists/1 steal/10-17 FG/8-13 3-PT/3-3 FT/+6 +/-).

Reporter: “Do you feel like you’re becoming the player that you envisioned being?”
White: “No. Coming into the league, my main objective was to just get better every day, take it one day at a time. I knew coming into the league I had a lot to learn and I had a lot of room to grow, so I’ve never been a guy like, ‘Man, one day I’m going to be this, I’m going to be that.’ I just took it as like, ‘I’m just trying to get better every day, take advantage of every day, and do what I need to to stay consistent on and off the court.’”
