Chris Simms ranks 40 NFL quarterbacks (including Giants’ Daniel Jones)

Chris Simms continued his annual tradition of ranking NFL quarterbacks this offseason and his latest rankings ahead of the 2024 season have been revealed by NBC Sports

For the New York Giants, it remains business as usual. Assuming he works his way back from a torn ACL, Daniel Jones will start in Week 1 with the plan being that he appears in all 17 games. Should that go awry, general manager Joe Schoen has signed Drew Lock as his backup, replacing Tyrod Taylor, who now plays across town with the New York Jets.

Simms has been more complimentary of Jones than many in recent years and even after a disastrous 2023 campaign, he hasn’t fully given up hope on DJ.
