Chris Broussard doesn’t think teams would draft Bronny to get LeBron

According to ESPN’s mock draft, Bronny James is projected to be the 10th overall pick in next year’s NBA Draft.

His father LeBron James has expressed his desire to play with son when he enters the league. So does it make Bronny a more attractive draft pick considering that it would also bring LeBron to the team?

Sports analyst Chris Broussard does not that would be the case. “I would love to see Bronny be a lottery pick,” he said on First Things First. Watching him, I love his feel for the game, I think he has his dad’s court vision, sense and intelligence and all that.

“But to say he’s going to be a lottery pick because he’s defensively a terror as a six-two guard, I don’t get that. Nobody’s drafting a lottery pick who’s six-two because he’s great defensively in high school.

“But I don’t think a team would draft Bronny in lottery, assuming he’s not that level of player, that you just draft him even though he might be a second-round or late first-round talent, you’re just drafting him in lottery to get LeBron 2 years from now when LeBron’s about to turn 40? The question was would you draft Bronny in the lottery to get LeBron? No.”
