According to sources from Marc Stein of Substack, the Miami Heat are actively interested in trading for Donovan Mitchell.

However, the Cleveland Cavaliers have consistently expressed no interest in entertaining a trade involving Mitchell.

It’s worth noting that Mitchell has the option to become a free agent in 2025 if he doesn’t sign an extension during the 2024 offseason.

This isn’t the first time the Heat have pursued Mitchell, as they also expressed interest in 2022.
