Jerry West dies at 86

Jerry West has died at the age of 86. West played for the Los Angeles Lakers from 1960 to 1974, earning 10 All-NBA First Team selections and two All-NBA Second Team honors.

He was named to the NBA’s 35th, 50th, and 75th-anniversary teams. West secured eight championships in his executive career, six with the Lakers as the main decision-maker and two more as a consultant with the Golden State Warriors.
