Ozempic is no laughing matter for the comedian. Handler revealed her “anti-aging doctor” prescribed her the medication without realizing what the drug was.

“I didn’t even know I was on it,” she said during the Jan. 25, 2023 episode of Call Her Daddy. “She said, ‘If you ever want to drop five pounds, this is good.'”

But while she tried the drug, Handler noted that she didn’t like how it made her feel.

“I came back from a vacation and I injected myself with it,” she recalled. “I went to lunch with a girlfriend a few days later, and she was like, ‘I’m not really eating anything. I’m so nauseous, I’m on Ozempic.’ And I was like, ‘I’m kind of nauseous too.’ But I had just come back from Spain and was jet-lagged.”

Ultimately, Handler stopped using the drug because it wasn’t medically necessary for her, adding that she gave away the remaining doses to friends.

“I’ve injected about four or five of my friends with Ozempic, because I realized I didn’t want to use it because it was silly,” she said. “It’s for heavy people. I have people coming over to my house, and I’m like, ‘OK, I can see you at 1, I can see you at 2.'”

After the “Ex’s & Oh’s” singer received backlash for her tribute performance at the music venue last month—during which she admitted to the crowd she was “f–king hammered”—the country music star shed some light on where they stand. 

“Elle King is a doll,” Parton told E! News in an exclusive interview while walking the red carpet for Dolly Parton’s Pet Gala. “I called her, and I said, ‘You know, there are many F-words. Why don’t we use the right one? Forgiveness, friends, forget it.'”

And ultimately, the “9 to 5” artist hopes life—and fans—treat King kind. 

“She made a mistake,” she continued, echoing her previous sentiments about that night. “She feels worse about it than anybody. But she’s a talented girl. She’s going through some hard times, and I think she just had a little too much to drink and then that just hit her. So, we need to get over that because she’s a great artist and a great person.” 

The Kansas City community is mourning a devastating loss. 

In the wake of the mass shooting that occurred on Feb. 14 during the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl Parade, the identity of the person fatally shot has been confirmed by her family as Lisa Lopez-Galvan, a local radio personality and DJ who hosted a weekly show on KKFI 90.1 called A Taste of Tejano.

“Our hearts and prayers are with her family,” KKFI station wrote on its Facebook page. “This senseless act has taken a beautiful person from her family and this KC Community.”

A friend of Lopez-Galvan’s, who is also named Lisa Lopez, told the Kansas City Star, “She was the most wonderful, beautiful person. She was a local DJ. She did everybody’s weddings. We all know her. She was so full of life.”

Per the outlet, Lopez-Galvan was married and is survived by two adult children. 

Manuel Abarca IV, a district legislator in Jackson County, Missouri and friend of the victim, mourned her loss on social media.

“I have known Lisa and her family for over a decade. I have witnessed that smile across DJ equipment, and on the stage of our largest Fiesta in #KansasCity,” he wrote on X, adding in an additional tweet, “She was a mother, a community leader, a creator, who loved life and her family.”

The YouTube community has lost one of its own.

Twomad—born Muudea Sedik—died on Feb. 13, according to Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. He was 23.

He was found unresponsive at his Los Angeles home after a welfare check was requested, law enforcement sources told TMZ. Authorities were called to Twomad’s residence after he missed multiple appointments and had not been heard from for several days, the outlet reported.

His cause of death has been deferred, per online medical examiner records reviewed by E! News. 

Twomad got his start on YouTube in 2018 through commentating on video game streams. In the years that followed, he pivoted to creating comedic skits, garnering over 2.1 million subscribers on the video platform.

In June 2022, he collaborated with Belle Delphine, the OnlyFans model who went viral for selling a product called “GamerGirl Bath Water.” The pair starred in a racy photo shoot in which they dressed up as beloved cartoon characters, including Toy Story‘s Buzz Lightyear and Jessie as well as Donkey Kong and Princess Peach from the Nintendo universe.

Travis Kelce shared his devastation following the deadly shooting at the Kansas City Chiefs parade. 

The NFL star was in attendance at the 2024 Super Bowl victory rally in Missouri on Feb. 14 when gunfire broke out in the crowd, leaving at least one person dead and 21 more people wounded, according to local police.

After the incident, Kelce spoke out on social media to express his grief.

“I am heartbroken over the tragedy that took place today,” the 34-year-old wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. “My heart is with all who came out to celebrate with us and have been affected.”

Kelce, who has played for the Chiefs since 2013, added, “KC, you mean the world to me.” 

Earlier in the day, his mom Donna Kelce joined him at the parade alongside fellow teammates and their families. His girlfriend Taylor Swift was not present at the celebration, however, as she’s spending Valentine’s Day preparing to kick off the next leg of her Eras Tour concerts in Australia on Feb. 16. 

Hilary Swank is celebrating her million-dollar twin babies.

Ten months after their birth, the Oscar winner revealed the names of her daughter and son in a special Valentine’s Day message. 

“I have a busy week of talk shows ahead where I’ll be sharing about my new film and a fun partnership,” Hilary wrote in a Feb. 14 Instagram post. “But I figured what better day to share the names of my two little loves with you all first. Thanks for being here!! Happy Valentine’s Day.”

Alongside the post, Hilary shared a photo of the kids sitting on the beach in matching hats and swimsuit onesies, with their names—Aya and Ohm—spelled out in leaves behind them. 

Closing out the post, Hilary joked, “Who else has babies that think sand is edible?”

Aya and Ohm are the first children for the Million Dollar Baby star and her husband, Philip Schneider, who she tied the knot with in 2018.

Mark Cuevas and Jessica Batten: Not Together

OK, if you thought these two were actually going to end up married at the end of this thing after their many, many struggles (the 10-year age difference, her being attracted to Barnett, Jessica not really being into Mark physically, etc., etc.), well…bless your naive little heart. 

Since their failed wedding, with Jessica being the one to pull the plug (duh), Mark revealed to the New York Post in February 2020 that he had not spoken to Jessica since that day, though he had reached out at one point.  

“I didn’t hear back, but to me, it’s just sending love out there,” he said, adding the LIB experiment was still the “best” thing to happen to him. “Without Jessica, there would not be a Mark of today.”

Mark and Aubrey Rainey wed in September 2022. Their sons, Ace and Axton, served as ring bearers.

As for Jessica, she married Dr. Ben McGrath, a podiatrist, in August 2022. The couple welcomed their son, Dax, in June 2023. 

Former activist Nkechi Diallo has lost her teaching job over her “intimate” side hustle.

Diallo—who made headlines as Rachel Dolezal in 2015, when she was exposed as a white woman pretending to be Black while serving as a NAACP chapter president—is no longer employed by the Catalina Foothills School District in Tucson, Ariz., following the discovery of her OnlyFans account.

“We only learned of Ms. Nkechi Diallo’s OnlyFans social media posts yesterday afternoon,” the school district said in a statement to E! News on Feb. 14. “Her posts are contrary to our district’s ‘Use of Social Media by District Employees’ policy and our staff ethics policy.”

On OnlyFans, a site known for its adults-only content, Diallo noted that her page would be “where I post creative content and give fans a more Intimate look into my life.”

Her posts included nude and explicit images, including an explicit Christmas photo collection for a “Very Merry season filled with fantasies and pleasure.” Last month, Diallo shared a post for fans to “watch me strip out of this dress.”

Ben Affleck‘s support for his wife Jennifer Lopez don’t cost a thing.

In fact, the “I’m Real” singer revealed that the Air director was a huge help when making her This Is Me… Now: A Love Story musical, which premieres on Amazon Prime Video on Feb. 16.

“He definitely helped me through the process,” she exclusively told Will Marfuggi during a Feb. 14 episode of E! News. “It was the first time I was making something in this way.”

And when the finished product arrived, Ben made sure to live it up with the Marry Me actress, whom he married in 2022.

“At the end of it he was like, ‘Oh my god, you made a film,'” she said. “‘Congratulations. And it’s really good. I’m really proud of you.'”

The Oscar winner’s support didn’t end there, either. At the Feb. 13 premiere of the film, he made sure to take photos of Jen on his phone as she posted on the red carpet and was delighted to celebrate his wife’s new foray into filmmaking.
