Luke Combs, 33, took the time to express gratitude for his recent Grammy Awards experience and praised Tracy Chapman, 59, for her memorable duet with him, in a new Instagram post. The country singer shared epic photos from the event, including a few with Tracy, and added a thoughtful message in the caption.

“What an unreal Grammy week to say the least. There were so many laughs, tears, hugs, and cheers that it almost doesn’t seem real,” the message began. “From the hotel hangs and rehearsals, to the dinners and post show pizza, the vibes were HIGH. I want to thank my whole team for working tirelessly to make this happen and my wife for always being by my side, I love you.”

“When it comes to the performance it’s still hard to process how amazing it really was to be up there on that stage,” Luke continued. “No doubt a defining moment of my career. Tracy, I want to send my sincerest thanks to you for allowing me to be a part of your moment. Thank you for the impact you have had on my musical journey, and the musical journeys of countless other singers, songwriters, musicians, and fans alike. I hope you felt how much you mean to the world that night. We were all in awe of you up there and I was just the guy lucky enough to have the best seat in the house.”

Luke’s thankful post comes after he and Tracy wowed with their performance of Tracy’s 1988 hit “Fast Car” during the 2024 Grammy Awards last week. Luke’s 2023 cover release of the tune has gained popularity over the past year and the duet on-stage proved to be one this year’s best music award moments so far.

It wasn’t a lot of fun because he beat the s*it out of you,” he also joked.

“But he was a really, really good guy, a great artist and I always respected how he did things his way and didn’t care what anybody thought,” he continued. “So bear with me if I don’t get through it, you guys help me out, but I want to dedicate this song to Toby and his family.”

Tim went on to sing his 2015 hit song  “Live Like You Were Dying” and the audience members sang along. Just three days before, he also shared a tribute post to Toby that included photos of him and an emotional message.

“Our self titled debuts came out on the same day, April 20, 1993… Toby and I spent quite a bit of time together early in our careers…..We had a lot of good times and conversations about what we wanted out of our careers and our lives,” he wrote in the message. “He was a maverick. He did things his way, on his terms, a true artist. I always have and always will have tremendous respect for his artistry, dedication and fearlessness to do his thing.
We all will miss you, brother.”

Some of them included Reba McEntire, Brett Favre, Dolly Parton, Carrie Underwood, Zach Bryan, Jason Aldean, Kristin Chenoweth, Jelly Roll, and Jill Biden. Brett, who was good friends with Toby, recently revealed the details of his final encounter with Toby, three months before his death.

“I think in the end he was just tired. He did say that to me when we had our conversation, he said, ‘Brett… whatever happens, I’m OK with it,’” he told TMZ Sports. “[Keith] said, ‘I quit chemo and it probably did more damage to me than the cancer did. And he said, ‘I just hope I didn’t quit it too late, but… I’m thankful I got a chance to play some shows. I finished them.’ ”

How Taylor Swift Can Make It to the Super Bowl to Support Travis Kelce

Taylor Swift could be flying in a dream, seeing stars by the pocketful to make it to Super Bowl LVIII

Indeed, despite performing halfway across the world the night before the big game, the Grammy winner might be able to make it to Las Vegas by Feb. 11 to watch boyfriend Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs try to secure this year’s win. It’s a simple matter of geography, in fact.

On the night of Feb. 10, after Taylor’s Tokyo concert wrapped, the singer rushed to a private jet at Haneda airport, according to multiple reports.

Tokyo is 17 hours ahead of Las Vegas, and fans had already speculated that the “Snow on the Beach” singer would still be able to make it to the Big Game on time whether she took the 12-hour flight that evening or slept in Japan for the night and flew out the morning of the 11th.

Usher’s Got Fans Fallin’ in Love With His Sweet Family

Usher has found love in this club called fatherhood.

While the R&B icon is undoubtedly excited to burn up the stage at the 2024 Super Bowl Halftime Show, there’s nothing that makes him say “Yeah!” quite like being a dad to kids Usher “Cinco” V, 16, Naviyd Raymond, 15, Soveriegn, 3, and Sire, 2. In fact, Usher’s little ones serve as his biggest musical inspirations.

Take, for example, his song “I Cry,” which the Grammy winner wrote after experiencing an emotional moment with his two oldest sons while watching a movie together.

“I’m not shy in terms of being honest with my kids about the fact that I didn’t have a relationship with my father at all,” Usher shared in 2020 interview with radio station WPGC 95.5 FM. “And there was a moment between a son and a father and it got to me—I started crying. So, my kids, they look over at me and they’re like, ‘Are you crying?!'”

These Are the Madewell Deals I’m Shopping This Weekend

We independently selected these deals and products because we love them, and we think you might like them at these prices. E! has affiliate relationships, so we may get a commission if you purchase something through our links. Items are sold by the retailer, not E!. Prices are accurate as of publish time.

One of my favorite things to do on a Saturday is get up late, drink a leisurely cup of coffee, and check out the sales for the weekend. And when I’m done going over Skin Gym and Therabody’s  skincare deals, I’ll head over to Madewell to see what they’ve got. There are a few items I always keep in my cart in the hope that I’ll catch them on sale at just the right moment. Well, I’ve been lucky because some of those tops, pants, jewelry, and more, have had their prices reduced. Even better, there are some discounted Madewell products over at Nordstrom Rack, as well. My finger can’t click fast enough.

What I love about Madewell clothes (besides the quality), is how well everything goes together. There’s a cohesion of design and style that makes it easy to mix new items with ones you already have. Like this wool-blended mini skirt that looks great with tights or without, with boots or heels. Or these comfy joggers for lounging or traveling. Or a pair of western-inspired boots that are $149 less than the original price. I could tell you more, but you should see for yourself.

Keep on scrolling to see the best Madewell deals this weekend. You’ll be guaranteed to enter next week in style.

How the Royal Family’s Health Scares Are Changing the Monarchy

“The queen’s way of doing things, her stoic approach, not showing much emotion—that worked for the 70 years of her reign,” Carpenter noted. “And England, for many of those years, was a different place.”

Nowadays, however, people are used to perfect strangers spilling their guts online. And while no one is asking the royal family for a 24/7 live feed (well, perhaps someone has asked, but it isn’t widely demanded), the public likes it when the façade cracks.

“There’s something to be said about this infallible nature, this keeping calm and carrying on,” Carpenter noted. “There’s a lot of respect around that. But I think showing that they’re human, that they go through the same things that we go through—a lot of people have softened toward King Charles, but also to the royal family in general. They’re just like us—they just don’t talk about it in the same way that we might.”

And that goes for the side of the family that has made a historic practice of neither confirming nor denying and the side that writes books and makes Netflix documentaries.

How Tarek El Moussa Went From Absent Father to “Best Dad Possible”

As for Tarek’s mini-est me, his 12-month-old son Tristan with wife of two years Heather Rae El Moussa, the toddler isn’t tracking his steps yet like his big brother, but he will point to the family dog if you ask him where Bugsy is.

“That was a very cute moment,” Tarek said of the positive canine identification. And this time around, Dad’s busy (as in getting up at 3 a.m. so he can be done working by 6:30 p.m.) soaking up all the moments.

“I wasn’t around very much with Taylor and Brayden,” he admitted. “With Tristan, since the day he got home from the hospital we did skin-to-skin every night, he’d lay on my chest for an hour. I put in the work. And now my 1-year-old son, when he sees me, his eyes light up, he smiles, he throws his arms out.”

Having missed so much with his older kids, Tarek said, “I will never make the same mistake twice.”

Inside Céline Dion’s Rare Health Battle

Dion shared that she had been diagnosed with a “very rare” progressive neurological disorder called stiff-person syndrome, surely the first time that most people had ever heard of it.

“As you know, I’ve always been an open book,” she said in an Instagram video. “I wasn’t ready to say anything before, but I’m ready now. I’ve been dealing with problems with my health for a long time, and it’s been really difficult for me to face these challenges and to talk about everything that I’ve been going through.”

She suffered muscle spasms that affected “every aspect” of her daily life, Dion explained, making it difficult to walk sometimes and, saddest of all, it was going to be impossible for her to go back on tour as she’d been planning.

“I’m working hard with my sports medicine therapist every day to build back my strength and my ability to perform again,” Dion said. “But I have to admit, it’s been a struggle.”

According to the National Institutes of Health, symptoms include stiff muscles in the torso, arms, and legs, and greater sensitivity to noise, touch, and emotional distress, all of which can trigger muscle spasms.
